Athens Aqueduct [ISA Services, Inc.]

The Athens Aqueduct architectural component is used to control messageflows in a Java applet or application. The package contains Javainterfaces and classes that provide a robust Message Logging facility.The LogFacility class is configured with one or more categories which, inturn, are configured to use different printing options and differentmessage loggers. By combining and configuring different MsgLoggers withthe LogFacility, the user may create flexible and powerful loggingstrategies. Many concrete MsgLogger classes are provided with AthensAqueduct. The user is free to extend the Aqueduct framework further byimplementing additional MsgLogger classes to send messages to other,useful destinations. With no configuration, the logFacility uses adefault category and default settings so that novice users may easily andimmediately take advantage of the Aqueduct framework.
